Thanks to the various rooms, which are all at your disposal during the meeting. Huis Bartolotti gives you a unique insight into Dutch residential history. And the beauty: despite the splendor you immediately feel ‘at home’ here. The house was built around 1620 for the wealthy Willem Bartolotti van den Heuvel. The house is first and foremost a very large and elaborately decorated canal house in the Dutch Renaissance style. In particular, this location was most likely designed by the Amsterdam city stonemason Hendrick de Keyser.

The facade consists of natural and brick, decorated with various decorations such as ornamental vases, balusters, medallions and imaginative sculpture. The top of the facade was meticulously reconstructed during the 1970 restoration using historical images and paintings. In 2008 the paint layer over the red bricks was removed and the natural stones were painted in Bentheimer sandstone color again.
