Katwoude is located on the IJsselmeerdijk between Monnickendam and Volendam. The rural area with farms is typical of the North Dutch polder, the breeding ground. On the cheese farm Jacobs Hoeve in Katwoude Henri Willig started more than 40 years ago with cheese. The varieties and flavors are of high quality and are internationally appreciated.
